That's Baker's Law.  But the New York Times' review of Andrew Young's book The Politician about John Edwards overlooks this ironclad rule:  "Regardless of whether Mr. Edwards can rise again, he now has nowhere left to fall."  This overlooks the federal grand jury investigation of Edwards and a pack.  Where he can still fall is in the prison shower.
