I Question Cindy Shaheen's Patriotism!

Cindy Shaheen, on the United States of America:

I was raised in a country by a public school system that taught us that America was good, that America was just. America has been killing people . . . since we first stepped on this continent, we have been responsible for death and destruction. I passed on that bullshit to my son and my son enlisted. I'm going all over the country telling moms: "This country is not worth dying for." If we're attacked, we would all go out. We'd all take whatever we had. I'd take my rolling pin and I'd beat the attackers over the head with it. But we were not attacked by Iraq. We might not even have been attacked by Osama bin Laden if 9/11 was their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through and, if I would have known that before my son was killed, I would have taken him to Canada. I would never have let him go and try and defend this morally repugnant system we have. The people are good, the system is morally repugnant. . . .

What they're saying, too, is like, it's okay for Israel to have nuclear weapons. But Iran or Syria better not get nuclear weapons. It's okay for the United States to have nuclear weapons. It's okay for the countries that we say it's okay for. We are waging a nuclear war in Iraq right now. That country is contaminated. It will be contaminated for practically eternity now. It's okay for them to have them, but Iran or Syria can't have them. It's okay for Israel to occupy Palestine, but it's--yeah--and it's okay for Iraq to occupy--I mean, for the United States to occupy Iraq, but it's not okay for Syria to be in Lebanon.

Truly an awful creature.

I have been a Republican conservative for the entire portion of my adult life. I was born in 1948. My father did not attend college (but I did--graduated cum laude UT Austin). I am a 7th generation Texan. On both sides of my family, my ancestors fought for Texas Independence in 1836, and they fought in the American Revolution before that.

My father was a self-made man--an entertainer who came from inheriting a $300 debt at age 19 and a sick mother and sister to take care of in 1935 at the height of the depression to becoming a multi-millionaire in the 1980's. He was a hard working, honest, credit-worthy, intelligent individual who instilled in me the love for American principles and Democracy, for the Bill of Rights and the American Way. He served in the military in WWII and enlisted even when he didn't have to because he had an important civil job. His 1st cousin, a fine young man, died in that war, and yet he still supported America's effort. He was a stanch Republican. Conservative meant LESS government not more. In the 50's & early 60's is when he made his greatest fortune when there was very little government and it didn't tax you on every dime you made.

My husband served as a pilot in the USAF during Vietnam. I thought war protests were totally wrong. I was NOT a flowerchild. We supported the war and believed Jane Fonda was wrong.

BUT....

After all these years and studying the motives behind the Viet Nam war and many wars since that time, I have come to the opinion that War is downright good for America. At least, it is good for all the defense companies who get the contracts. It was good for Brown and Root and it is good right now for Halliburton. It is great for any mega-company that stands to gain from ANY war activity that the USA participates in because they can make LOTS OF MONEY!

It isn't a secret that MEGA-Corporations own Congress and the Presidency, lock stock and barrel. And the biggest of all that benefit from their buddy-buddy relationship is EXXON-Mobile and the other oil companies. No wonder Bush and his buddies cow down to the Saudis, their business partners. Keep that oil flowing at whatever costs! Even if it means the blood of so many 19-24 year old American boys!

Sure the Bush administration says they are protecting us from Terrorists. Just remember 9-11?

Oh really! Our borders are wide open to any illegals that care to make their way into this country. IF they wanted to terrorize us, they very damn well could at any moment. Why haven't they we ask? Is it because the US is "protecting" us so well. Hardly! There are any number of ways--easy ways-- that they could wreak havoc upon our country right now, today. Why hasn't this happened since 9-11? Just one single incident? Ask yourself. Is it because our boys are dying over in Iraq and Afghanistan? Is it because our great CIA has thwarted each and every terrorist move upon our shores. I wonder????

Could 9-11have been a ploy just like Pearl Harbor to get us into this war? To make the spirit of America rise up in support of a monstrous government who would take away our civil rights through a devastating document called, of all things, "The Patriot Act"!

I realize that what I say here will be deemed by most as totally unpatriotic, as anti-American, but let me tell you, I have written books about patriotism, and this thing in Iraq is NOT worthy of the word. These poor soldiers do what they are told to do. They and their military families are brainwashed into believing that they are doing the right thing for America, and that anyone who does not support the President is unpatriotic, dirtier than dirt. May I remind you. Hitler had the German people believe likewise.

We have to come out of our sleep state and wake up and smell the oil flowing! This war needs to end quickly.

The history of this tormented section of the world with it's diverse groups shows that the moment we leave, regardless of whether it is tomorrow, or 10 years from tomorrow, they will soon be at each other's throats again.

And one last thing, HOW could we, a country supportive of Democracy and human rights, allow them to adopt a constitution based on Islamic principles which totally devalue the role of a woman and hold her to be subhuman in comparison to her fellow man. Repugnant to say the least. God bless you Cindy Shaheen and thank you for telling it like it is.

I really feel sorry for Cindy Shaheen, she obviously is not completely with it. She reminds me of many of the inmates in the state mental institutions who have that look of just not knowing what is going on and I feel so sorry for her that she is being taken advantage of by the far left liberals. I cannot sleep at night because I know the far left is out to destroy our country and ultimately destroy themselves. Far left liberals cannot be held responsible for their actions because they are victums of the very worst evil that one imagine. I feel so sorry for them and for Cindy for she knows not what she does. History will show that George Bush as unpolished as he is is right in his decisions. When Pearl Harbor occured it occured because our armed forces under an Democratic controlled nation were practicing drills with wooden rifles because as usual the far left did not want a strong military which is one of the reasons the Japanese quoted as why they felt they could attack us at will and ultimately conquer us. How is your Japanese these days by the way? Over 2000 people were killed at the bombing of Pearl Harbor and over 3000 were killed at 911. I wonder if we would be speaking Japanese or German if people like Cindy Shaheen were in charge. Let's get real and understand what we are dealing with and not let people with vacant eyes dictate our future, our children's future. Remember also there are good, loyal, well informed Americans that will fight you and our terriorist adversaries with our last breath. Have you been to the shooting range lately? Fortunately such organizations as the Congress and the NRA has millions of sensible American members who will defy you and your few seemingly idiotic buddies till you finally run out of gas.

Poor Cindy, not content with her own son's death is now helping kill other mothers’ sons by siding with the enemy- she's a tragedy slut and a treason whore. Shaheen hates America and she probably is a Socialist anyway. She'd be happy seeing tens of millions of us die at the hands of others. Don't be sucked in by her bravado, if she lived under the rule of say Chavez (Venezuela) like she said she preferred she'd be silenced.

If you people had any sense of an "umma" towards your own country, you'd realize what the Iraq war is really about. We are sending the only kind of message and in the only way possible that the Arab Islamists can understand: that we are a dangerous and pissed-off country who wants its vengeance for the killing of our people in NY. And so we show them that we can put boots on the ground in the heart of Mesopotamia- Arabia. We can invade them just as they invaded us and that vengeance is a very important American value. I fear what they will do to us, but I fear more what they will force us to do to them. In war, when the gloves come off, the friend of my enemy is also my enemy- think about that. Islam is a tough and assertive belief system and its' making a play for world dominance- face the challenge -we are all living in an historical time.

Between Aug. 30th and Oct. 14,07 all that was written for or against Cindy Shaheen has been wiped off. That proves this to be a blog for savaging Cindy. Cindy is a brave woman, a brave soldier's mom. a truly free american whose mind and actions are not remotelly controlled. She's saying what is her constitutional right.
Islam is not making a play for world dominance. It is not a challenge to the Western World.
Jack is talking like he is sitting in Roman senate and giving a line to his Roman armies. Sorry that was centuries ago. Come back to modern times. America has forces and vital interests in Middle-East oil. Only Russia+ Iran are competing for it. If Russia goes to sleep, the entire 400 trillion JACKPOT ( ME oil+ Ex-Soviet Union oil in Caspian littoral states, goes to America.
War was an invention. It was aimed to SETTLE OLD SCORES. Russia has old scores to settle, not small resources rich ME kingdoms. Saddam had kept Iran in check; now he's gone and Iran is openly siding with Russia.
Iran has said: 'we will fire 11000 missiles/rockets in the first minutes of war' or words to that effect. Since history, Iran is siding with Russia for the FIRST TIME. That has awakened Russian - to dream of reaching the warm waters via Iran.
So sir, you are 180 degrees off-course.
Savaging Cindy will not solve your problems; Listening to her may. Get your tired forces back. Retool, think, think, think.
People whose minds and actions are controlled are actors not thinkers.
Be wise. There lies the key to your future propsperity and well-being.
If my this answer is wiped off, then let Mr Jack run the falling US empire. He'll quicken its fall.

Misguided Contributions?
OMG, why am I worried about the future properity of the free world. I did not belong to it.
But now I do.
Nothing is as important as an 'idea'. No idea, however, off the course is misguided.
The fact is the so-called MUSLIM WORLD is the richest in resources. If it plays the notes of MANIFEST DESTINY and MONROE DOCTRINE, it is within its resources to keep its resources for their muslim population; that sir, is about a lotto of 400 trillion USDs. But we are neither planning to set up a KHILAFAT, nor our MANIFEST DESTINY and nor a MONROE DOCTRINE.
The reaction to US actions in ME is very very small; mostly in Iraq which suffers such changes in their life-time.
But there are some Nations, like Russia, who can dream.
We have it but we can't even dream of keeping it. They have the know-how. They are not sleeping.
Cindy Shaheen is saying FIRST THING FIRST; PULL OUT FROM IRAQ. I agree there. Your Presidential aspirant is also saying the same thing.
Pull out, rethink, re-tool, you can have an edge there.

Notwithstanding my scorn for Cindy Shaheen and her ilk, I have attempted to cut out any comments in Blue. Though I'm not really sure what this means.

Cindy Shaheen has paid and is now asking the shop-keeper to refund her payment. She has the same right as every woman returning 'gifts' to shops after each X-Mas.
But SONS are not money. Once their blood is shed, the businessman cannot retuurn blood for blood.
If you pay attention to Cindy Shaheen's situation, you can realize that our modern world had coined an eight-letter sentence to avoid a King's zest for war: ONLY PARLIAMENT SHALL HAVE POWERS TO WAGE WAR. That finished Kings favourite sport- WAR.
Cindy finds a new parliament of November. They are NOT even cutting the PURSE of the king. So she wants to unseat Nancy Pelosi in the next elections. My God she's serious.
Cindy can end up someday in the parliament or Whitehouse; grant her that right US constitution gives to beggers and scorned ones. The Bible says: THE MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE WORLD.(Or words to that effect).
I was a millionaire. Once I was going out of my office in Mercedes 500 and I scorned a
woman employee who came by a 'rickshaw' to office. You know she was still going on Rickshaw but I had no money even to get a rickshaw. May God forgive the hauty arrogant ones.
