Fred Thompson for President

From yesterday's Meet the Press:

TIM RUSSERT:  The interesting thing in all this is that when you have John Roberts arguing on behalf of his client, he's saying it should be overturned; then in seeking to be on the Court of Appeals, he said, "Well, it's settled law, it's precedent."  But once you're on the Supreme Court, anything can be unsettled.  Brown vs. Board of Education was settled law, separate but equal.

FRED THOMPSON:  Plessy vs. Ferguson.

How many actors could do that?  How many Senators?

I'd back Thompson for President in a heartbeat.

I believe that Fred Thompson from TN would be a great choice for the GOP nomnation in '08. He has the star power, and the political experience to back it up. I would definately vote for him in a heartbeat.

Fred Thompson is a wonderful actor, but we desperately need him in the White House. He is one of a very few that could do the job with common sense and forethought. Heck yes, I'll vote for Fred!!!!

If nothing else, I'd at least like to see Fred at these conservative events, stiring the pot and speaking his mind. We need to see if these candidates have any backbone. America is ready For Fred Thompson and needs him NOW.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RUN! RUN FRED RUN!
