Things That Go Unsaid

Alan Keyes, the Republican candidate for a vacant U.S. Senate seat in Illinois, said Tuesday that Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter Mary is a "selfish hedonist" because she is a lesbian.

His comments came during an interview with SIRIUS satellite radio.

Keyes said: "The essence of ... family life remains procreation. If we embrace homosexuality as a proper basis for marriage, we are saying that it's possible to have a marriage state that in principal excludes procreation and is based simply on the premise of selfish hedonism."

Asked whether that meant Mary Cheney "is a selfish hedonist," Keyes said: "That goes by definition. Of course she is."

One good turn deserves another. So let's be frank: Alan Keyes is gay. He's not merely affected. He's not merely effeminate. He's a homosexual -- the ultimate self-hating homosexual. How else to explain a hostility so bizarre, so tactless, that he would say this about Mary Cheney.

I don't know if he is or is not homosexual. But I wonder about his willingness to fling aspersions which will do nothing but hurt his chances of even making a dent come this November. Rathar sad as he does have a handle on ecconomics....and some charisma of his own. Better they take the Chicago metro area and associated collar counties and make that a seperate state. As the rest of the state, for the most part, is much more *red* than *blue*.

I can't vouch for the reasoning but I believe the conclusion is accurate. Alan Keyes is as gay as the Queen of Fairyland, and loves Jesus just as much for his holy-sausage as for anything else. If "gay" were a competitive sport he would become champion and keep the trophy in his manhole. He is the Grand Vesir of Gay.
